Dr. Abang Mohd Razif Abang Muis is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language Learning, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), where he has served since 2018. He obtained his PhD in Social Sciences from Universiti Sains Malaysia. His academic work is grounded in historical sociology, with a focus on Islamic civilisation and Islamic-based development. He maintains a regional focus on Sabah and Sarawak, examining local wisdom, community development, and the role of Islamic institutions in society. In recent years, he has developed an interest in digital humanities, particularly in the application of artificial intelligence in history research and education. His work adopts an interdisciplinary approach that integrates historical analysis with emerging technological perspectives.

Dr. Abang Mohd. Razif Bin Abang Muis holds Doktor Falsafah from Universiti Sains Malaysia , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
