Juppri Bacotang is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Education and Sports Studies (FESS), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia. He completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Early Childhood Education (2019), Master of Education in Early Childhood Education (2012), and Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education with Honours (2009) from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI).
He is currently a Coordinator for Programme of Master in Early Childhood Education in FESS, Chief Editor for Jurnal Pemikir Pendidikan (JPP), Editorial Board Member of the Southeast Asia Early Childhood Journal (SAECJ), Digital Education and Future Learning, Journal Educational of Bhayangkara (EDUKARYA), Selangor Humaniora Review (SHARE), and Panel for APEL C UMS Portfolio Evaluation.
He is also a manuscript reviewer for renowned national and international journals namely International Journal of Early Years Education, Asia-pacific Journal of Research in Early Childhood Education (APJRECE), Frontiers in Psychology, Journal of Health and Translational Medicine (JUMMEC), Jurnal Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak Kebangsaan, and Jurnal Kesidang,
He is also a external examiner/assessor/advisor for Programme of Early Childhood Education at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Jesselton University College, Kolej Universiti Borneo Utara (KUBU), City University Malaysia, and Murni International College.
He is passionately involved in the field of Early Childhood Education since 2009 until now. His area of expertise is early childhood education (early literacy skills, Islamic education, child development, curriculum, pedagogy, and assessment), quantitative research, and multi research (design and development research).
Dr. Juppri Bin Bacotang holds Doktor Falsafah (Pendidikan Awal Kanak-kanak) from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris, Tanjung Malim , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
