Summary

As a Senior Lecturer in the English Unit at Pusat Penataran Ilmu dan Bahasa (PPIB), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), I bring over 15 years of experience and passion to teaching English language skills to undergraduates. My academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in English Language (Hons) from Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), followed by a Master’s in English as a Second Language (MESL) from Universiti Malaya (UM), and culminated in a PhD specializing in English Language Skills from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). Since joining PPIB in 2004, I have honed my expertise in English as a Second Language (ESL), second language learning, and second language writing, empowering students to excel in mastering English as their second language.

Dr. Sabariah Binti Abd Rahim holds Doktor Falsafah (Ph.D) from Universiti Sains Malaysia , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
