Biography

Marry Tracy Pawan is a lecturer and career advisor in the Hospitality Management Programme at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). Her academic and professional interests include hospitality management, event planning, business events, sustainable tourism and the adoption of technology within the hospitality and events industry. She is passionate about creating engaging learning experiences through practical projects, industry collaboration, international mobility and community-based activities. Her teaching approach emphasises creativity, teamwork, sustainability and lifelong learning. Marry has also been actively involved in organising academic conferences, hospitality events and international engagement programmes. Through her work, she aims to connect academic knowledge with industry practice and prepare students to become innovative, responsible and adaptable hospitality professionals.
