Lynie Binti Johari is a seasoned nursing professional with over twenty years of experience in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as a Lecturer in Nursing (Pensyarah DS11) at Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), she is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of nurses through education, mentorship, and skill development.
Originally from Kota Marudu, Sabah, Lynie brings both regional insight and professional expertise to her teaching. Her passion lies in sharing knowledge, experiences, and clinical skills with her students, with the aim of shaping them into effective, competent, and safe nursing professionals. She strongly believes in the transformative power of education and is dedicated to advancing UMS’s mission of creating a positive impact on the community.
A subject-matter expert in midwifery, Lynie integrates both practical knowledge and compassion into her teaching. Beyond the classroom, she finds joy in traveling, volunteering and listening to music, which enriches her perspective and balance in life.
Guided by her personal philosophy, "Never give up on something you believe in," Lynie Binti Johari continues to inspire her students and colleagues alike through her unwavering dedication, resilience, and passion for the nursing profession.
