Prof. Madya ChM. Ts. Dr. Zuhair Jamain

Assoc. Prof. ChM. Ts. Dr. Zuhair Jamain completed his Ph.D. at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang, and currently serves as Associate Professor at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He also serves as the Head of the Seaweed and Natural Products (SNaP) Research Unit at the Faculty of Science and Technology, UMS. His research expertise involves synthesizing and modifying organic compounds for various applications such as liquid crystals, fire retardants, dielectric materials, and biological activities. He has published many of his research work in reputable journals and presented many scientific papers in various national and international conferences. Moreover, he actively participates in various research projects as principal investigator and collaborator. Furthermore, he acts as consultant at Flamoff Industries Sdn. Bhd. contributing to the development of fire extinguishing agent.
