Mazlina Mamat holds a B.Eng. and M.Sc. in electrical and electronic engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, earned in 2000 and 2003, respectively. In 2013, she obtained her Ph.D. in microengineering and nanoelectronics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. Currently serving as a senior lecturer at the Department of Electronic Engineering (Computer) at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Mazlina is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. Mazlina has contributed to her field with over 40 publications, including books, peer-reviewed technical journals, and conference proceedings. Her research focuses on sensors, signal processing, and artificial intelligence. Her endeavors have centered around developing and applying advanced sensor technologies, particularly in the domains of e-nose and e-eye prototypes. She employs diverse machine learning techniques, including SVM, SVR, MLP, Deep Learning, RBF, and NARX, to extract meaningful insights from sensory data. Mazlina’s expertise lies at the intersection of electronic engineering and artificial intelligence, with a strong emphasis on practical applications.
Profesor Madya Ir. Dr. Mazlina Binti Mamat holds Kejuruteraan Elektrik & Elektronik (Rangkaian Neural) from Universiti Sains Malaysia , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
