Dr. Nur Farha Shaafi is a Senior Lecturer of Science Education at the Faculty of Psychology and Education (FPP), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Sabah, Malaysia., She holds a Ph.D in Advanced Materials, Master of Science. in Chemistry, and Bachelor in Ed. (Hons.) Science (Chemistry). She is currently a Head of Programme for Science with Education Undergraduate Studies and Coordinator for Science Education Postgraduate Studies in FPP, Managing Editor for Journal of PEMIKIR, and Panel for APEL UMS Portfolio Evaluation. Her primary research interests are in the area of educational development, educational chemistry, science education, educational comics and module development. Her research focuses on innovative strategies in science education in formal and non-formal contexts. She is a frequent paper presenter in conferences and seminars at international and national levels. She is a chapter-in-book writer. She is frequently appointed as reviewer, panel, and judge for innovation competitions held by Association of Science, Technology and Innovation (ASTI) from 2019 till present. She is also a manuscript reviewer for renowned national and international journals, and conferences namely RSIS International Journals, Journal of Technical Education and Training (JTET), Journal of Turkish Science Education (TUSED), Journal of Teacher Education and Educators (JTEE), Melaka International Conference on Social Sciences, Science and Tecnology (MIC3ST), Conference on Future & Sustainable Education (CFSE), and International Conference on Civil Engineering and Construction Technology to name a few.
