Noor Sheena Herayani Harith is an Associate Professor at Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) and serve the university since 2011. She holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). Her areas of expertise include seismic hazard assessment, earthquake and seismology engineering, seismic design, seismic vulnerability assessment and serve actively on the development of Malaysian National Annex particularly for earthquake design parameters of building and bridge. She actively presented numerous academic and research papers at national and international conferences. She works on capacity building with executives, managers at all levels of organizations using a combination of lectures, invited speakers, seminars, and project consultants. With over 80 journal articles in WoS, Scopus and google scholar, her prolific research has significantly advanced scientific knowledge and practical applications. Her dedication is reflected in the leadership of numerous research projects, securing over RM500,000 in funding. Actively engaged with both national and international organizations, Dr. Noor Sheena also involve numerous peer review manuscript of high impact journals, chair of conferences, and member of BEM and MyEds committees. Her frequent invitations as a invited speaker at global and local conferences underscore her stature in the engineering community. Her work exemplifies the critical synergy between academia and industry, providing invaluable insights and fostering technological advancements. She passionately believes, "Bridging the gap between academic research and industrial application is crucial for technological advancement".
