Dr. Mohd Azizul Bin Ladin completed his lower secondary education at Sek. Men. (Agama) Falahiah, Kota Bharu, and his upper secondary education at Sultan Alam Shah Islamic College, Klang. He pursued his academic journey at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Bangi, where he excelled and obtained a distinguished bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering in 2008, followed by a master's degree in 2010 and a PhD in 2014.

During his doctoral studies, Dr. Azizul focused on developing an expert system aimed at selecting urban transportation strategies that promote sustainable transportation. In addition to his academic achievements, he gained valuable practical experience in the government sector. From 2009 to 2011, he served as an engineer at the government's Public Works Department (JKR), overseeing construction projects and maintaining government-owned roads. In 2020, he contributed his expertise to Gus Konsult Sdn. Bhd., a consulting firm, participating in the design of a 5 km rural road.

Currently, Dr. Azizul holds the esteemed position of a senior lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering in Universiti Malaysia Sabah. His vast knowledge spans various domains within transportation, including transportation modeling, sustainable transportation, traffic management, non-motorized transportation, expert systems in transportation, and road design. His professional accomplishments and academic expertise position him as a prominent figure in his field.

Moreover, Dr. Azizul actively serves the community through his religious engagements. He has been awarded three state-wide religious teaching credentials by the Sabah Islamic Religious Council (MUIS), which hold validity across Sabah. He passionately delivers lectures at various mosques in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, contributing to the spiritual growth of the community. Recognizing his expertise, government offices and schools regularly invite him to deliver insightful religious talks, further highlighting his impact and recognition in the field.
