Noraini Said is a dedicated academician and advocate for technology integration in education. With a Bachelor's and PhD degrees in TESL, along with a Master's degree in information management, Noraini strives to establish herself as a distinguished scholar. Noraini's passion for education began during her five-year tenure as a secondary school teacher, where she discovered her love for teaching and nurturing young minds. This experience sparked her interest in educational research and pedagogical innovation, driving her to explore new ways to enhance the learning experience. In 2007, Noraini transitioned to become a Teacher Trainer at the Teacher Education Institute, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the skills and teaching approaches of aspiring educators. Since March 2020, Noraini has held the position of Senior Lecturer at the esteemed Faculty of Psychology and Education at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Her expertise in technology integration in language education has propelled her involvement in various research projects, funded by external and internal grants such as CLMV and SDK. Currently, Noraini serves as the main supervisor for 10 postgraduate students pursuing their Master's and PhD degrees, with 5 students completed their studies. Her guidance and mentorship are hoped to contribute to the development of future scholars and researchers in the field. With a strong focus on teacher education, e-learning, and technology integration in language learning, Noraini strives to inspire both students and fellow academics with her unwavering commitment to advancing educational practices through the effective use of technology.
