Summary

Ting Pick Dew, a senior lecturer in the TESL program at the Faculty of Education and Sports Studies, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, holds a PhD in TESL from UMS. She earned her Bachelor of Science in TESL from Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and her Master of Education in TESL from Universiti Malaysia Sabah. With over 23 years of teaching experience in secondary education, she now plays an integral role in contributing to the TESL program at UMS. Her contributions to English language education extend across teaching, research, and curriculum development. Her scholarly interests encompass innovative teaching pedagogies, module development, and second-language teacher education. Her ongoing research focuses on exploring the use of generative artificial intelligence by TESL lecturers and pre-service teachers to enhance writing instruction.

Dr. Ting Pick Dew holds Doktor Falsafah (Ph.D) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
