Summary

Hoe Tung Yew received the B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering from the University of Lincoln, Lincoln, U.K., in 2003, the M.Sc. degree in microelectronic and communications engineering from Northumbria University, Newcastle, U.K., in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor, Malaysia.,He is currently a Senior Lecturer with the Faculty of Engineering, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institute of Engineering and Technology, U.K., and a Professional Engineer with the Malaysia Board of Engineers. He has coauthored over 50 technical peer-reviewed journals and conference papers. His research interests include the general area of wireless communications and in particular in the area of vertical handover, wireless sensor networks, and the Internet of Things., Dr. Yew served as the Executive Committee Member (Treasurer) for the IEEE Malaysia Sabah Subsection, from 2018 to 2020. He served as a TPC Member for the IEEE Malaysia Sabah Subsection conferences.

Profesor Madya Ir. Ts. Dr. Yew Hoe Tung holds BIOMEDICAL ENGINEERING from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
