Dr. Clament Chin Fui Seung is a distinguished researcher at Fakulti Pertanian Lestari, University Malaysia Sabah. Their research focuses on 1. Phytochemistry on plant bioactive compounds against pathogens [phenolic compounds, essential oils, defensive compounds (phytoanticipins/ phytoalexins)] 2. Plant growth promoting bacteria/ rhizobacteria (PGPB/PGPR) 3. Applied microbiology and biotechnology (degradation of agricultural biomass by microbes and turning waste into compost) 4. Mycology 5. Systematic bacteriology (novel bacterial species characterizations and nomenclature) .
