Summary

I am Ts. Jaeyres Jani, and I serve as a Lecturer and researcher (DS11) in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. I hold a Master of Science (Medical Science) degree from the same faculty at UMS. With an H-index of 6, I am actively engaged in publishing, collaborating, conducting analyses, and reviewing manuscripts, all of which reflect the impact of my work in various Bioinformatics applications.

Through a decade of experience spanning from 2011 to 2023, I have garnered expertise in the field of Bioinformatics. This expertise has been cultivated through both academic and industrial involvements, and I have worked in diverse countries including Malaysia, Japan, Brunei, Myanmar, and more. Notably, I have functioned as a trainer and have contributed to the development of bioinformatics hardware development.

My academic journey has been underpinned by practical and theoretical work, with a keen focus on fundamental aspects of bioinformatics such as Genomics, Transcriptomics, Metagenomics and Metatranscriptomic. Collaborating extensively with fellow scientists in Malaysia, I have co-authored numerous research articles. Notably, my contributions have resulted in over 26 articles published in Scopus-indexed journals.

Ts. Jaeyres Bin Jani holds Ijazah Sarjana Sains (Sains Perubatan) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
