Dr. Abang Mohd Razif Abang Muis is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for the Promotion of Knowledge and Language Learning, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), where he has served since 2018. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in History with a minor in Archaeology (2012), a Master of Social Sciences in Islamic Development Management (2014), and a PhD in Social Sciences (Islamic-based Development) (2017) from Universiti Sains Malaysia.

His research focuses on historical sociology, Islamic civilisation, and Islamic-based development, with growing interest in digital humanities and the application of artificial intelligence in history research and education. His work centres on Sabah and Sarawak, particularly on local wisdom, community development, and the role of Islamic institutions.

Dr. Abang Mohd. Razif Bin Abang Muis holds Doktor Falsafah from Universiti Sains Malaysia , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
