The studies involved are molecular epidemiology and diagnostics. These are the corner stone of prevention by policy decision and treatment by early diagnosis. His lab has established collaboration with several reputed universities such as the University of Oxford, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, National University of Singapore, and Nagasaki University. He has published over 165 papers in peer-reviewed journals and wrote chapters in books. At present Dr. Ahmed’s citation number is 3,925, h-index is 35, and i-10 index is 111.
