Dr. Mandy Maid is a distinguished researcher at Fakulti Perhutanan Tropika, University Malaysia Sabah. Their research focuses on Current research interest is focused on forest genetics specifically in the area of population genetics and the reproductive systems of plants in different forest types, including in forest plantation and agroforestry systems. , Other research interests include the use of molecular techniques to identify causal fungal pathogens of forest trees, and for the study of genetic diversity and breeding system of plants. , In the past, basic study was conducted on plant propagation and plant cultural techniques,, traditional agricultural and agroforestry practices among communities in Sabah., I was also a collaborator on a dendrochronological research of forest treees. .
As a member of Fakulti Perhutanan Tropika, they contribute significantly to the academic and research community at UMS through their expertise and dedication to advancing knowledge in their field.
Dr. Mandy Maid holds DOKTOR FALSAFAH (GENETIK) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
