Summary

Dr. Mohamad Hamim bin Mohamad Hanifah is an Associate Professor and Consultant Emergency Physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia. He started his career as a house officer in Tawau Hospital, Sabah, Malaysia in 2003. He became an Emergency Physician since 2013 after completed his post graduate study in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He has special interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM), Disaster and Wilderness Medicine. He is a certified Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) instructor for Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG), U.K since 2015 and actively involved as an instructor for APLS courses throughout Malaysia. He also a certified Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), and Trauma Life Support Malaysia (TLSM) instructor for National Committee on Resuscitation Training (NCORT) for MOH Hospitals and has conducted multiple educational programs and life support courses for healthcare providers and the public. He also loves doing outdoor activities such as trekking, camping and cycling. He currently is a part of the Wilderness Medicine Society and candidate of Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM) since 2022. He also currently pursuing his postgraduate program in Health Professions Education (HPE) in IMU University since September 2024.
