As a Deputy Director of Innovation and Commercialisation Management at Universiti Malaysia Sabah and Senior Lecturer in Marketing, I am passionate about bridging the gap between research and real-world application, facilitating the journey from lab to market. I am experienced in driving innovation, fostering academic-industry collaboration, and empowering teams to translate ideas into impactful solutions. I am dedicated to shaping future leaders in marketing and innovation through engaging education and mentorship." I have taught various marketing and management courses both at Universiti Malaysia Sabah and the University of Melbourne, Australia.
I also specialize in a service environment, virtual service marketing, value co-creation and consumer well-being. I have been recognized as an Emerging Leader in Future of Work by Centre for Workplace and Leadership by University of Melbourne based on my research in service environment and value co-creation in Australian coworking spaces. The Institute of Business and Finance Research in Hawaii, USA has recognized and awarded my work on brand personality and brand placement as Outstanding Research.
I have now expanded my research and service into the women empowerment in social entrepreneurship as well as the role of responsible consumption and production in business.
