Summary

Dr. Tham Heng Jin is a senior lecturer at the Chemical Engineering Programme, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. She has joined UMS since 2002. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree of Chemical & Process Engineering from University of Newcastle, UK in 1997, and a Master’s degree from Universiti Malaya in 2001. In 2010, she completed her PhD in Chemical Engineering from University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Tham has also served as the head of Chemical Engineering progamme from 2018-2020.
Dr. Tham’s research interest includes process control and food engineering. She has been actively involved in a few projects related to drying of foods. She has supervised and graduated 6 Masters graduates, and 1 PhD student.

Professor Madya Dr. Tham Heng Jin holds PhD (Chemical and Materials Engineering) from Auckland University, New Zealand , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
