Mohd Suffian is a Lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and his master degree from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2001 and 2007 respectively. At the time, he also involves himself with research and development activity mainly on HVAC and compressors. Currently, He teaches in the mechanical engineering program specializing in thermo-fluid engineering field of study. He is the author of several engineering journals ranging from design, air conditioning, statistical analysis, membrane, CFD, thermal and renewable energy. He holds a number of research grants in the field of thermodynamics and renewable energy, sponsored by the university and the ministry of learning; as either as head project or key members.
