Khalid Bin Mokti has established himself as a prominent figure in the field of public health and medical education in Malaysia, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing public health outcomes and contributing significantly to medical academia. Born on September 11, 1984, in Malaysia, Khalid embarked on his medical academic journey at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, earning his Bachelor's in Medicine on August 1, 2009. His passion for public health led him to further his studies, obtaining a Master's in Public Health from Universiti Malaysia Sabah on November 18, 2017, followed by a Doctorate in Public Health from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia on February 24, 2021.

Khalid's professional career began in September 2009, serving as a Medical Officer with the Ministry of Health Malaysia until July 2016. His dedication to medical education and public health saw him transition into academia, where he has held various positions at Universiti Malaysia Sabah's Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. He started as a Medical Lecturer in August 2016 and progressed to Senior Medical Lecturer in February 2021.

His expertise in public health, particularly in public health medicine, is recognized through numerous honors, memberships in prestigious medical and public health organizations, and a solid track record of research and publications. Khalid has significantly contributed to understanding public health challenges, particularly in Malaysia, through his research on COVID-19 mortality among the elderly and hypertension prevalence among urban Sabah's elderly population.
