-Graduated with a Ph.D. Degree with Hons in Advancement of Biodiversity (Natural Products Chemistry) and bachelor’s degree with Hons in Science (Conservation Biology) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

-Ten years’ experience in handling analytical instruments such as UV-VIS spectrophotometer, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), High Performance Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (LCMS, LCMSMS), Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometer (GCMS, GCMSMS) and Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR).

-Research interest is focusing on phytochemical analysis and biological potential of terrestrial plants, medicinal herbs, indigenous vegetables, and fruits.

-Currently holding a position of senior lecturer in Institute for Tropical Biology and Conservation (ITBC), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS).

Ts. Dr. Ng Shean Yeaw holds IJAZAH DOKTOR FALSAFAH (KEMAJUAN BIODIVERSITI) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
