Professional Summary:
Dayang Nur Sakinah Musa is a dedicated and results-driven professional with approximately 8 years of experience in UMS as a Lecturer at the Faculty of Tropical Forestry. She has completed her PhD and received the Senate on 16th May 2024 from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dayang has demonstrated exceptional skills in Fire Safety research, leading to significant achievements such as completing training in Fire behaviour analyst training from the Rainforest & Peatland Fires Centre of Excellence (2023) and publishing related articles in journals and international magazines in recent years. Recently, she led a team for a Consultation Project for Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) on the SUPA/REPEAT Project (2024) and was appointed as a permanent member of Pembangunan Prosedur Tetap Operasi (PTO) Pahang Tenggara (2024). Dayang aims to continue exploring fire safety in forestry research. With a passion for teaching and doing research, she is eager to take on new challenges and drive further success for the team and UMS.
