I am Dr. Frederick Josue @ Mohd Fadhil Abdullah, an accomplished academic professional with a distinguished educational and professional background. I earned a Ph.D. in Health Sciences from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2021, a Master’s in Education (Sports Science) from Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris in 2007, a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2004, and a Diploma in Education from Maktab Perguruan Teknik Cheras in 1995.
My career began as a teacher at Technical Secondary Schools, where I served from 1995 to 2010, gaining extensive experience in education and pedagogy. I later transitioned to higher education as a lecturer and eventually became the Principal of Kolej Awang Had Salleh at Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris.
I am a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology and Education, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, specializing in Physical and Health Education and Sports Science. My research and professional interests revolve around para-badminton, specifically focusing on talent identification (TID), training and testing methodologies, and sports motivation, including techniques such as visualization, imagery, goal setting, and more.
I have an impressive record of publishing in reputable journals and presenting my research at prestigious academic conferences. My work reflects a commitment to advancing knowledge and bridging the gap between theory and practice in sports science and education.
Beyond research, I am dedicated to nurturing the next generation of scholars and professionals. I actively teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, supervise Ph.D. and master’s students, and lead impactful research projects. My contributions embody a deep passion for education, research, and the holistic development of individuals.
