Encik Janshah Bin Moktar is a distinguished researcher at Fakulti Perhutanan Tropika, University Malaysia Sabah. Their research focuses on The research interest related to the Bio-Composite and Engineered Wood Product, and, Wood Energy Characteristics. The current research is focused on the development of green products from bio-composites from cultivated forest plantation (Acacia mangium and Acacia hybrid) and agricultural residual. These composites are in the form of Laminated Veneer Lumber (mouldered and flat panels), mouldered plywood and strip lumber. Research on wood energy characteristics is related to the development of wood pellets from wood residual from timber manufacturing and from oil palm plantation residual including Oil Palm Trunk and Empty Fruits Bunches. .
As a member of Fakulti Perhutanan Tropika, they contribute significantly to the academic and research community at UMS through their expertise and dedication to advancing knowledge in their field.
Encik Janshah Bin Moktar holds Ijazah Sarjana Sains (Teknologi Industri Perkayuan) from Universiti Putra Malaysia , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
