Dr. Jaratin Bin Lily is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Accountancy, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia. He earned his Ph.D. in Business Management (International Finance) from Universiti Teknologi MARA, his MBA in International Business from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Business (Hons.) from Universiti Malaysia Sabah.

His research focuses on international business, international finance, exchange rate exposure, foreign direct investment, digital innovation, business management (e.g., Microfiannce) and SME internationalisation, with a growing interest in the asymmetric impacts of geopolitical risks and global shocks on trade and tourism. He has published in refereed journals and contributed to over 65 academic works.

In addition to his research contributions, he supervises postgraduate students, evaluates doctoral research, and actively collaborates on projects that advance knowledge in international business, financial economics, and digital entrepreneurship.

Dr. Jaratin Bin Lily holds Ijazah Doktor Falsafah (Pengurusan Perniagaan) from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Cawangan Shah Alam , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
