Summary

Dr Yasmin Ooi is a nutritionist and lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sabah for 25 years. She received her PhD from King’s College London. Her area of interest is nutritional epidemiology. She is currently a Council Member of the Nutrition Society of Malaysia as well as Fellow of the Society. Yasmin is also a member of the Malaysian Ministry of Health’s Technical Working Group on Dietary Guidelines. This group provides the scientific basis for the Reference Nutrient Intake (RNI) for Malaysia, and the Malaysian Dietary Guidelines for Adults, Children & Adolescents, Older People and Vegetarian. In her free time, she likes to read and travel.

Dr. Yasmin Ooi Beng Houi holds Ph.D from University Of London, UK , among other qualifications, and has established themselves as a respected expert in their field.
