Dr. Teo Siow Hwa

Siow Hwa Teo is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Science and Natural Resources, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He received his Ph.D. degree majoring in Catalysis from the Catalysis Science and Technology Research Centre, Universiti Putra Malaysia in 2015. He was then joined as a postdoctoral researcher at the Catalysis Science and Technology Research Centre in 2015–2017. After that, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor at Kyushu Institution of Technology, Japan from 2017 to 2019. His research interests include designing and synthesizing novel light-active heterostructured photocatalysts for their applications in water splitting and photoreduction CO2.
