Dr. Bablu K. Ghosh has received his Doctor of Engineering (DE) from Fukui University, Japan in Graduate School of Engineering in 2004 under Monbusho Scholarship. Currently he is working in Electrical and Electronic Engineering program under Faculty of Engineering in Universiti Malaysia Sabah, Malaysia as senior lecturer. His research area is solar PV materials, photo detectors, nano and opto-electronics. For higher opto-electric gain suitable dimension emitter and TCO materials choice for hetero-junction (HJ) or HJ hybrid (HHJ) photo device and appropriate back contacts design are current interests of research. He is the author of sixty peer reviewed journals and proceedings. He also attended several conferences in USA, Japan, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, France and UK for his work presentation as invited speaker. Before joining UMS, he has been serving as a research engineer in the research and receiving center of Bangladesh Betar (formerly called Radio Bangladesh) for 10 years. He was closely associated with ยต-wave planning and link designing, Radio parameter design, Spectrum analysis and management, UV spectroscopic analysis. He also worked for implementation of e-governance in Bangladesh Broadcasting sector. Before that he has been also served in Bangladesh atomic energy commission as scientific officer and as telecom Engineer in Bangladesh Rural Telecom Authority for more than o3 years. Based on his outstanding educational background, research accomplishments and professional reputation he recognized as chartered Engineer from UK and research advisor position in NAS, Singapore.
