Dr. Mohd Juhar Bin Harun

Senior Lecturer at the Borneo Indigenous Institute of Studies (BorIIS), Universiti Malaysia Sabah. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Linguistics (Sociolinguistics), with a research focus on Indigenous communities in Sabah. His areas of specialization encompass historical studies, sociolinguistics, endangered language documentation, and the socio-cultural dynamics of local ethnic groups. He is actively engaged in fieldwork and participates in various initiatives aimed at preserving and promoting the heritage, culture, and languages of Indigenous communities through teaching, academic writing, and collaborative projects with local communities.
