I am Roziela Hanim Alamjuri, currently serving as a Lecturer (DA41) at the Faculty of Tropical Forestry, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). With a deep passion for wood protection areas, I am thrilled about the opportunity to embrace new challenges and further contribute to the success of our esteemed organization.
My professional journey has been one of continuous growth and achievement, progressing from a Tutor to my current role as a Lecturer. This evolution reflects my unwavering commitment to excellence, dedication, and a relentless pursuit of knowledge. I hold a Master's Degree in Non-Wood Forest Products from Universiti Putra Malaysia and am currently pursuing a Doctoral Degree to stay abreast of industry trends and best practices.
My diverse skill set includes conducting scientific research, publishing my work in reputable journals, overseeing the academic development of Final Year Degree students, collaborative teamwork, and active participation in various faculty activities. These skills, honed through practical application and a steadfast commitment to continuous improvement, uniquely position me to excel in the challenges associated with the Senior Lecturer position.
Demonstrating my dedication to professional development, I actively seek opportunities to enhance my skills. A recent highlight includes serving as an Oral Presenter at the 6th Wood and Biofibre International Conference 2023 in Langkawi, Kedah—an experience that further enriched my understanding of current industry dynamics.
I am deeply committed to the values and goals of Universiti Malaysia Sabah, actively contributing to teaching and learning initiatives. I am enthusiastic about the opportunity to continue making meaningful contributions to the university's mission and vision.
My overarching goal is to achieve excellence in every aspect of my academic and professional pursuits.
