Dr. Mohd Hardyianto Vai Bin Bahrun

Dr. Mohd Hardyianto Vai Bahrun is a Senior Lecturer in the Chemical Engineering Programme at Universiti Malaysia Sabah, where his work bridges traditional chemical processes with modern digital innovation. His primary research focuses on process modeling and simulation, machine learning applications, and low-cost IoT monitoring systems. He holds a PhD in chemical engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where he specialized in the complex modeling of pressure swing adsorption for biogas upgrading and advanced surrogate optimization using neural networks and genetic algorithms. With over 30 scholarly publications to his name across journals, proceedings, and book chapters, Dr. Hardy is also a dedicated peer reviewer for renowned academic journals, demonstrating his ongoing commitment to scientific excellence and global collaboration.
