Ejria Saleh is a Assoc. Professor in Borneo Marine Research Institute, Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Malaysia. She has a Diploma and a BSc. (Hons) degree in Fisheries Science from Universiti Putra Malaysia, MSc in Recent Environmental Change at the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom and PhD in Oceanography from Universiti Malaysia Sabah. Previously she was a manager for the Coral Triangle Initiative on Coral Reefs, Fisheries, and Food Security (CTI-CFF) Sabah Branch Office under the Ministry of Science, Technology & Innovation (2013-2016) and Deputy Director, Borneo Marine Research Institute (2016-2020). Currently, she is directly involved with implementing Goal 4; Climate Change Adaptation (CCA) Measures Achieved, CTI-CFF Malaysia. Her research interest focuses on coastal oceanography, climate change, and coastal community. She is also a member of the World Seagrass Association and Malaysia Nature Society. She has actively participated in various scientific marine expeditions within Sulu-Sulawasi Seas. She is also a project leader of more than 10 funded research projects and published several books and journals related to coastal oceanography and climate change adaptation.
