(TESL) degree from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and BA in English with Emphasis in Literary Studies degree from Utah State University, Logan UT, USA. The co-author for Ready to Work: English for Employment, published by Cengage Learning Asia. Research interests include English Studies, Reader Response, Literary Studies, English for Specific Purposes, and Sociolinguistics.
