Dr. Mohamad Isa Abd Jalil is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business, Economics, and Accounting, Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He joined UMS as a Senior Lecturer after completing his Ph.D. in 2018 from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). His research interests encompass Islamic financial economics, waqf, and philanthropy. Dr. Mohamad Isa has published numerous high-impact, peer-reviewed articles on Islamic finance and philanthropy in indexed journals such as Web of Science, SCOPUS, ERA, and MyCite, both locally and internationally. In addition to his journal publications, he has authored several books and book chapters in the fields of Islamic finance and muamalat. Dr. Mohamad Isa has presented his scholarly research on Islamic finance at various international conferences in countries including Brunei, Bangladesh, Tunisia, Thailand, Pakistan, the Philippines, and Indonesia.
